I saw an advert of this show on a random Sunday night. I wasn't really planing on getting hooked into another TV show because it really takes up a lot of time when it gets addictive. But the ending of the trailer got me hooked into it.
Its about a boy who lived for the past 11 years, can only communicate through coded numbers without saying a single word. The idea is that these codes link everyone in a pattern. Nothing is random and that as if everyone is connected one way or another. This premise of the show enticed me to watch the premiere last Sunday.
Half way through the premiere, the boy got a bit annoying. Not speaking any words and only writing down numbers, it got a bit confusing. Some side stories around the world started appearing in random as well. I didn't get it at first.
After a while, these seemingly random events started to be connected. The boy seemed to connect all these people through the random numbers he create and receive and turn them into phone numbers and times.
In the end, these random events weren't so random at all.
There were some side stories that convinced me, "hey, that's really possible."
But other ones are just plain bs. Those are the ones that got me a bit turned off by the show.
Overall though, the events that connected with a logical reasoning made me want to watch this show more.
This show may take a while to connect all the dots, but when they all do, it gets really interesting.
